Delve into the similarities and differences, the power and venerability of visual and spoken languages facilitated by panelists Dale H. Boam and Jeff Packer, professors from Utah Valley University. While Dale illuminates on ASL and visual languages, Jeff connects us to German, Russian, and other spoken languages.  Event is to be filmed and includes ASL and Spanish interpretation services.

Details:  “Fata Morgana” is pure storytelling existing somewhere in the realm of magic realism and urban legend in which the audience chooses which of the four principal characters to begin with – the baker, the contessa, the mapmaker or the widow – and Loren Niemi tells from there. At the half way point, three of the four are in Fata Morgana (literally the term refers to a kind of desert mirage) and the audience chooses who will leave, which in turn determines which of five possible endings the story will arrive at.
