Sunday, December 31, 2017--Deadline to submit your best 10-minute story of no particular theme by video or audio file to be considered for one of five spots for the Timp Tell competition during the 2018 Timpanogos Storytelling Festival.  Email story.timpfest@gmail.com for more info.  You can also go to timpfest.org though may not be posted until after the Festival.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Event:  19th Story Crossroads Fundraising House Concert

Featured Story Artists:  Glastonbury Duo (Dave & Carol Sharp)

Encounters from the "Other World":  Celtic Stories & Songs--best for teens and adults

Travel back in time as Glastonbury Duo plays music from the Celtic countries, Tudor England, or Renaissance Europe.  Carol and Dave Sharp play many kinds of music, including haunting harp and flute, songs of long ago, and rousing dance tunes.  Glastonbury Duo includes period costumes, hand carved instruments, and storytelling, with elements of culture, history and language.  Instruments include a hand carved Celtic Harp, Bowed Psaltery, Irish Flute, Whistles, Recorders, Alto Cornamuse, Zils, Bodhran, Tambourine, Schietholtz or Epinette.  Vocals are sung in Gaelic, Welsh, and English.

​​​​​​​Suggested Donation:  $15.00+/person, $25.00+/couple or family, though any amount welcomed, best for teens and adults

Park City Ghost Tours

Event:  Park City Ghost Tours


Dates/Times:  Every night in October at 8:00pm, show up and go from there


Cost:  $20.00/adult, $10.00/child (ages 16 and under), Groups of 10 or more and get 10% discount if paid as one, Private tours for groups of 20 or more and get 20% discount if paid as one, Tickets purchased from guide at the start of the tour


Location/Parking:  FREE parking is available on Swede Alley, one block to the East (or Left of Historic Main Street as you are going up Historic Main Street). Pull into the three tiered concrete parking structure called China Bridge Garage at least 30-minutes prior to the start of the tour. Walk one block to 415 Main Street (directly across the street from 412 Bistro Restaurant) to the bronze statue of the miner, where the PCGT Guide in costume will greet you. Please meet the guide at least 15 minutes prior to the Tour departure which is on the hour. (Winter Hours 7:00 p.m./ Summer Hours 8:00 p.m.) The Guide takes cash or credit at the spot. Dress appropriately for the weather. Park City Ghost Tours is an outdoor walking tour so please wear suitable clothing and comfortable walking shoes.

Details:  Suspenseful stories that will thrill you and chill you down to the bone.  They should not be graphically violent.  Never-the-less, they are not recommended for children under 12 years of age.  Note:  Fortunately, chairs will be provided.  But unfortunately, there are no restrooms open this time of year, nor heat, so "Plan Accordingly."
