We already have several youth though walk-ins are still allowed.  Please RSVP for any youth tellers who would like to take part in the Utah Youth Storytelling Showcase on Tuesday, October 11th at 6:00pm in South Jordan.  The top five will be forwarded to be judged at the national level.  See details below or an overall view of it at http://www.nationalyouthstorytellingshowcase.org.

Wanted Tellers:  Youth tellers ranging from K-12th grade


Story Length for Youth Tellers:  5-10 minutes


Invited:  Families are invited to this state-level event that determines who will represent Utah for the National Youth Storytelling

Showcase.  K-12 students are encouraged to perform.  Stories are 5-10 minutes.


Judging Criteria:  Focus on storyteller, story, and storytelling elements (most points awarded for "connection with audience")--NO READING!


Cost:  Free, open to all as general public can come whether or not you have youth participating
