The JustStories Festival is available online from August 1-3, 2012.  Each hour new stories are posted so you can enjoy it real-time or the videos will be there for a few days later.  Chat with national storytellers.  Go to http://www.facebook.com/juststories, scroll down, and press play.  

The 2013 Story@Home Conference in Salt Lake City is looking for workshop and performance proposals.  Go to http://www.cherishbound.com/blog/storyathome/presenters.

From August 1-25, 2012, the Gardner Village in West Jordan will receive entries for "So you think you're a witch" contest.  Entry cost is $25.  See http://www.gardnervillage.com.

The Weber State University Storytelling Festival will have auditions on September 8th (every 2nd Saturday of September) starting at 12:30pm.  Contact Rachel Hedman at (801) 870-5799 for scheduling an 8-minute slot.  More details below.

Wanted Tellers:  Any youth Kindergarten-High School who wishes to make the National Youth Storytelling Showcase, top 5 from Utah are forwarded and judged a 2nd time
Story Length for Youth Teller:  Range of 5-10 minutes
Cost:  Free, open to all--general public invited whether or not you have youth telling
