Event:  "Year of the Adopted Family" story performance/workshop (Storytelling Masters)--RSVP required
Date:  Saturday, November 20th
Time:  7:00pm-9:30pm

Who Is Invited:  Adoptive couples--Celebrate National Adoption Month by giving the gift of story to your adopted child--no matter the age!
Cost:  Free, though limited seating and RSVP required
Location:  Weber State University, Shepherd Union Bldg., Room 312 in Ogden, UT
Adoptive Couples Will Receive:

*  Free story performance geared for adoptive couples
*  Book with 12 adoption folktales
*  Workbook on how to share stories with your child (tots to teens)

What to Expect:
The night consists of performance, workshop, and hands-on activities.  Before the event, a background survey and consent form will be completed as this is part of a Storytelling Masters thesis.  Couples will email a paragraph once a week for 7 weeks on the impact, if any, on their parenting.  Confidentiality will be maintained for the written responses.

Host:  Treehouse Museum

Times:  Each night is from 6:00pm-7:00pm (story show followed by Q&A)

Cost:  $4.00/person if Treehouse member, $6.00/person if non-member, $25.00/family for season (family = children and 2 adults and could go towards this production as well as "Beauty and the Beast" in Jan. and "The Fisherman" in March)
