Need Your Help! Story Crossroads Academy launching April 1, 2021
We created Story Crossroads Academy, online self-led storytelling courses, with special attention to teachers, homeschool groups, and seniors. The first 8-hour course (4 modules) will be free with open captioning for increased accessibly. We have raised $6000 for this project, but could use $2000 more to include American Sign Language.
Starting Tuesday, March 2, 2021, we will have a Facebook Fundraiser on the Story Crossroads Facebook page as well as our homepage. Watch the video above to understand the
project better and why ASL is so important beyond the already-budgeted open captioning.

On February 6, 2021, we learned what happens to the brain during storytelling performances and what that could mean as storytellers during the virtual workshop "The Incredible Science Behind the Power of Storytelling" taught by Karl Behling. His knowledge combined with activities and examples brought clarity
to the topic.
