Story Videos of the Month
Enjoy Diane Wolkstein tell "The Magic Orange Tree," a Haitian folktale she published with many other tales. We are honoring her with the Cap's Off to You! (see below). The last two videos are showing what you can look forward to with Steve Daut's virtual workshop "Finding the Funny: Using Humor in Stories" on
July 10, 2021 as well as the transitioning time for our house concerts and a hint of our featured teller, Stephen Gashler for July 16, 2021.

We thank Bob Davis for these pictures (and many more) from the hybrid festival on May 10-13, 2021 at the Murray City Park, Utah.
We celebrated our youth tellers, professional story artists, videographers, and ASL Interpreters. We had 951 views of our Festival playlist with the Youth Teller Premiere being most watched. Considering the family and friends...not too surprised. People enjoyed the different cultures as well as having ASL throughout all the 24 videos connected with the Festival.
We celebrated our first hybrid festival on May 10-13, 2021...though many people are still enjoying it now as ticketholders can view to June 15. We will share more details in our July e-newsletter.
Thanks to funding from National Endowment for the Arts; Western States Arts Federation; Utah Division of Arts and Museums/Utah Legislature; Utah Humanities; City of Murray; Zoo, Arts & Parks (ZAP) of Salt Lake County; Salt Lake City Arts Council; Clever Octopus, and 80+ businesses and individuals.
We had a lovely virtual workshop on June 5, 2021 led by Suzanne Hudson on "Bringing HerStory & History Alive." We had special guests/docents from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Museum as well as people across the nation. We were pleased that men AND women enjoyed the amazing insights
from Suzanne. And she had 7 excellent handouts on top of it all.
